Seventh and Bell
15 x 15, framed to 22 x 22
$420
This painting taught me so much! This was my first poured watercolor after learning the technique. I love the sparkly highlights that are seen in traffic. 7th and Bell is a regular intersection for me on my journey between my studio and home.

Bratislava I
14 x 18, framed to 26 x 30
 $505
It was fascinating to wander the streets of the ancient European towns last summer. Cobblestones and tiny cafes, unexpected arches and twisting alleys leading to castles and abbeys.
Truly an experience.

Against The Light
15 x 15, framed to 20 x 20
$420
Another painting from my European visit in 2025.
This painting received the Daniel Smith Award at the 85th International Exhibition of the Northwest Watercolor Society in Bellevue, Washington.

Musée d’Orsay
14 x 12, framed to 28 x 24
$365
My 5th great-grandfather was born in St. Benoit, Paris, France. I was lucky enough to visit Paris a few years ago and, of course, had to visit as many museums as I could. The clock room is on the top floor, just past all the Degas statues. There was one of his horse statues there that I absolutely adored.

Calm Confidence
9 x 12, framed to 16 x 20
$295
Portrait of the artist’s mother from a 1940’s photograph. My mum worked in a London department store (Derry and Toms) until she was old enough to join the war effort, enlisting with the WAAF and working in Whitehall during the worst of the blitz.

Venardos Circus
29 x 21, framed to 36 x 28
$725
Venardos Circus visits the North Phoenix area in Spring and sets up its big top at the Anthem Outlet stores. They have no performing animals but have the usual circus performers – acrobats, strongman, jugglers, high wire act and an exuberant Ringmaster.

Ringmaster
8 x 10, framed to 11 x 14

Boulder Mountain:

$350
Boulder Mountain in Utah is west of Capitol Reef National Park. It is the highest timbered plateau in North America, rising to 11,316 ft, and is part of the Dixie National Forest. There is a road that begins in Escalante and leads up to the mountain and nearby Posey Lake.

Montreal II
20 x 16, framed to 26 x 22
$505
What a treat to escape the summer heat in Phoenix and visit Canada. This was a work trip for my husband and I was able to go along too. It was our 30th wedding anniversary on that trip. This painting was part of a demonstration given to the Arizona Watercolor Association in January 2026.

Seventh and Greenway
11 x 14, framed to 16 x 20
$350
I am not a car afficionado, so I have no idea of the brand of car depicted here, but they do make such great subjects to paint with all the reflected light. 7th Street and Greenway is another intersection between the studio and my home.

I Knew Him
10 x 10, framed to 16 x 16
$280
Alas, poor Yorick! This painting evolved from a still-life session with artist friends. It began as a standard 4-layer poured watercolor and was then embellished with watercolor crayon to highlight some  cool areas and some of the very darks.

Český Krumlov
15 x 15, framed to 22 x 22
$420
An ancient town in  Czechia, home to the Koh-I-Noor pencil company due to the nearby graphite deposits. I visited their shop and brought home some watercolor crayons.

Lymington
15 x 15, framed to 22 x 22
$420
Lymington was the home to some of my earliest known ancestors. They were craftsmen, shoemakers and gunsmiths. This small fishing village is on the south coast of England, just west of Southampton and faces the Isle of Wight.

Hanworth Road
14 x 11, framed to 20 x 16
$350
We like to take public transport wherever we are visiting and I grew up taking the London buses to school and dance lessons. Hanworth Road is close to where my husband grew up.
This painting was chosen for a musical accompaniment at the recent Central Arizona Flute Ensemble recital during the Arizona Art Alliance exhibit reception at WHAM gallery in Surprise.

Shaw Butte
12 x 12, framed to 18 x 18
$335
My neighborhood and local walking area.

Cup and Knife Warm
14 x 11, framed to 20 x 16
